Palos Verdes CA seniors Savannah Scriven and Samantha Steman took the top two spots in the Division 3 girls final at the CIF Southern Section Championships in Riverside, Calif. Scriven covered the 3-mile Riverside course in 17:28.5 and Steman ran 17:40.7 for Palos Verdes, which captured the 13th team title in program history, including the fifth in the past seven seasons with a 70-84 victory over Brea-Olinda.
